Isn't she adorable? Wade says we could be sisters, and I take that as a huge compliment.

Our story goes a bit back, when I hosted a "Life on a Mission" linkup challenge and Amy was my one faithful participant. She encouraged me to continue challenging myself to be missional in my every day life because I knew she was doing it right alongside of me.

Now, Amy is preparing to go on her first foreign mission trip and I could NOT be more excited about where God has been/is taking her! (and I don't just mean to another country)

In 4 days, Amy's fundraising deadline will be over. This morning she posted on her blog that she was less than $1000 away from the trip cost (a total of $3800) and declared her trust in God to bring the remaining amount, publicly.

I know from experience what a scary thing that is.  It was only April when God led me to launch my own big scary fundraising effort. And you guys. IT HAPPENED.

This was one of those moments in my life where God allowed me to see Him work in a BIG, unreachable way.

Romans 10 says, "'For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'

But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him?

And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him?

And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?

And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?

THAT is why the Scriptures say, 'How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!'"

The feet of the messengers are beautiful because they don't walk alone. They have been sent by other believers who are taking the journey with them.  Next year, I'm going to Africa with Amy - in a way - and today I'm inviting you to go with her too!

Already, since boldly sharing the remaining amount she owes to go to Africa, the Lord has been providing. Last update I heard was just over $700. God is moving. Will you consider giving? Will you consider praying? Will you consider sharing and being the one sending out the messenger of the Good News?

Amy, I'm so excited to be a part of this mission with you! And I'm so thankful to God that He is sending *us* to Africa to share the truth of the gospel with those who have never heard. He is going to do amazing things!
