I don't know what it is about being out in public, just the two of us, that I love so much. Its not as cheap as staying at home, and usually not as healthy, but I just love love love to be out and about in town with my husband.
I can't say enough how much I enjoyed our late night rendezvous to the local coffee spot the other night. (Even when Mickey Mouse walked in to hand us a flyer... yep. really happened)
In fact, I think I said it about 10 times that evening alone.
There is just something about dating, especially going somewhere spur of the moment or non-sensical, that makes a girl feel special. It does for me anyway. Are you married? Go out! Do something small together that is out of the norm for you. We only spent about a half hour at the coffee shop but it was by-far my favorite 30 minutes of the day :)

Awww! I have to agree with you. I love anytime spent outside with hubby. I think is more of the fact that we have each others undivided attention when out in public. We get to have conversations and just love on each other:)
I totally agree with you! I thought I was the only one. Honesty. Idk why it makes a difference, but it really does. Glad you still date your husband. =)

When my family went to the US last month to visit my folks, we relished having time alone when the baby was asleep (with grandma @ home to "babysit"). My husband and I took bike rides, went for ice cream, and even hit the batting cages. It was so much fun & we hadn't had the opportunity for such a long time. You're right, married dates are SO SO important.
I am in total agreement with this!! :) People actually joke with Josh and I that we go out too much. But we actually get less distracted (by TV, computers, our dog Heidi... haha) when we're not at home and can have great conversation and quality time together. I know things will change some when the baby comes, but we still plan to make date night a priority!
You two are soo adorable, by the way! :)
Love your new look :) && agreed, it's little things like this that make me happy! XO
I just saw your blog and Katie's and LOVE it. I am so with you on the little dates... it kind of re-sparks that dating, romantic feel and that can't be beat :)
Can't wait to keep up with your blog!

It's an Easy Life
Great post! We have so many kids getting out is hard now... but once a month at least we'll sneak away for breakfast together or coffee (even with the baby napping in the stroller it's wonderful!). We need to do it more!
So sweet! I couldn't agree more! Little dates are my favorite, no matter what/where it is. You guys are adorable, by the way :)
oh this is precious! you and your husband are adorable! My husband and I got married in May of 2009 too! what day? maybe it was the SAME as ours? May 22nd? (but thats on a Friday so if anything yours would be May 23rd) - anyways, yay for dating! you just encouraged me to take my husband on a date! We have a 1 year old so the past year has revolved around her...it's husband and wifey time. you're such a pretty woman too! Excited to be your newest follower!
