::Come Next Year::

Come next year...
My life will be completely different.

Come next year...
Chores will actually require hard/manual labor.

Come next year...
Air conditioning will be a treat.

Come next year...
I'll be adjusting to life without constant electricity.

Come next year...
Every day will be unpredictable.

Come next year...
My ice cream man, and fruit vender will come 'round on a bike.

Come next year...
Talking to my neighbors will be a bit of a challenge.

Come next year...
I hope to have daily house guests.

Come next year...
Maybe I'll be on the path to adoption.

Come next year...
I'll be living out one of my dreams.

Come next year...
I'll look back at today and be amazed at all God has done.

Come next year...
We will be living as full time missionaries in a place we love so much, the place we met, and the place where we will be required to fully rely on God, day in and day out.

Come next year...
We will be moving to Mexico :)

Come, next year, come!

I'm so excited to share with you all the exciting changes that are coming in our lives.  Over the past two years, Wade and I have been trying to make a next step, and each time we found ourselves getting caught up in the "American Dream" of it all.

The shock I received when Wade text me one morning that he thought we should start preparing to move to Mexico was pretty big.  I immediately text back, "is this a joke?"  I've dreamt of living as a full time foreign missionary since the 3rd grade.

We have known the last three years that moving to Mexico would happen one day, but in our minds, it made the "most sense" to go when we were older.  But following God doesn't often make sense.

I fully believe that we are all missionaries, and we should strive to serve God where we are.  But we should also be willing to go whenever He says "go."

So, we're going.

We are excited and nervous about this next venture and ask for your prayer over the next year as we prepare for this change!  We know it will not be easy, but we also know that living in God's will is the best place to be.

I'd love for you to join me in sharing what God is teaching you, showing you, or doing in your life.  Or how you are living "life on a mission" for him by linking up below!
