It happens every time.
Without fail.
In preparation for our upcoming summer mission trip to Mexico, I'm feeling anxious.
As always.
I really hate that part of it; and taking my largest group yet -- about 50 people -- has really up'd the ante this go-round.
So, for my own sanity, I thought it would be nice to post some photos of the pay off.
And boy is it good.
ahhhhhhhh.... I feel much better now.
Every trip I have moments of panic or stress. And every trip, it's 100% worth it. Every trip, I'm reminded that the success of the trip is not up to me -- it's up to Him. I don't know why I worry... well, I do. It's an attack and I'm fully aware of Satan's schemes.
So pray with me will you?

So how can I sign up to go on one of these mission trips with you? :) I'll definitely be praying! I know I started getting really anxious before my Boston Prayer Tour trip, it's crazy how Satan goes after us like that! But if anything, it's nice to be reminded that the battle is very, very real. And with our God, we already won :)
Aw, this makes me want to go on another mission trip! Will be praying for y'all!

What sweet pictures!
Praying, sweetie! You know it's the Devil. See, he attacks our gifts hard. I'm taking a summer class in spiritual gifts and he gets at me every time I go. He uses my social anxiety against me to tell me that my gifts aren't as good as other people's gifts. He attacks hardest when he knows you're about to do something God really wants you to do, so that's when you know that you're doing the right thing!!
Wonderful photos! They really make me see this payoff that you're talking about! I'll be praying for you and your husband as this trip approaches.
I totally get te same way around leaving for anything as small as a day trip to big longer trips - anxiety is not our friend! Prayers & live being sent your way & I cannot wait to hear (and see) all about it!!
