Tuesday Challenge makeover

Ok y'all, I know this link-up's only 3 weeks old, but I'm making a change. In order to incorporate all blog posts that focus on God, living life on a mission, what God is doing in your life or showing you, I needed to change the name of the linkup. It's less exclusive.  I'm still going to do the Tuesday Challenges each week and I hope you will participate -- but it's not the sole purpose of the link up!

My initial intention was to give a place for bloggers to share with one another and keep one another accountable in regards to living their lives for Christ. The Tuesday Challenge is my way of giving you ideas on how to to that through service and acts of kindness and I seriously love hearing your stories about it!  It's exciting.

So, without further ado, here is the NEW link-up button if you'd like to use it!

Life Linkup

Last week's challenge was to open doors.  This seems easy enough, but was a tad challenging for me to remember every time this week as I spent the week skiing in Montana. It took effort to think of others as I stood, holding the door open, dressed like a marshmallow/ninja in the most uncomfortable ski boots EVER, all while I was in blow freezing weather half the time!

What I noticed most was the strange looks I got as I stood and let lines of people through.  Especially from the men, to whom I'm sure it was quite odd having a girl open the door for you!  It was really interesting with my husband, who does this naturally. Sometimes he would be holding the first door and I would be holding the second, haha!  It's so nice to serve others, even if they don't know why.

More ski trip pictures to come!

On to this week's challenge!
Choose a verse and word of encouragement,
and leave it for a stranger to find.
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what it wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." -- 2 Tim. 3:16-17

Get creative! And remember, most importantly, pray for the person who will receive it.

And remember, this link-up is for any blog posts about living life on for Jesus, God, what He is teaching or showing you, etc.

This is a GREAT link up. I have not done one yet...but I may have to join you on this one. I am starting a study of the Proverbs 31 woman on my blog...do you think I could like that up to this? Or should I do it seperately? Hmmm..

PS...I truly enjoy your blog. God is working in such wonderful ways through you!
