Well, I'm back from Florida and I gotta say, the bridal shower vision came together better than I ever imagined! From the moment I stepped off the plane into the ocean air of Jacksonville, Florida, the work began. I had my family's help, and even had the old folks ;) glittering, well, everything!
PINK GLITTER
everywhere.

| plywood scraps, modge podged with scrapbook paper, painted and staked into the ground for the entrance |
| banner made with 24" strips of spare fabric, doubled over and knotted onto a rope for the window banner. Table covered in 2 yards of burlap with lace fabric runner. |
| Cupcake inspo: here. Used D2 icing tip. White box cake, cream cheese icing recipe here, dyed pink. Cupcake wrapper from Bella Cupcake Couture. (Bought them with a coupon from Eversave.) |
| Cake inspo: here. Strawberry box cake with cream cheese icing, recipe here (use clear vanilla). D2 icing tip. |
| Cupcake inspo: here. Chocolate box cake with cream cheese icing, directions here. Recipe here. Dyed blue and purple. D2 icing tip and brown cupcake wrappers to look like dirt for the "hydrangeas" |
| Lucky for me, my sister had this amazing cake stand. All flowers purchased at dollar tree! |
| Glittered cutlery Inspo: here. Plastic silverware from Party City; glitter painted pink with Martha Stewart glitter paint, found at Michaels or Home Depot. |
| Inspo: here. Fake flowers and assorted vases from Dollar Tree, filled with water -- so easy and cheap!
| Crepe Paper Rose Pomanders inspo: here. Streamers (crepe paper) from Dollar Tree, foam balls from Hobby Lobby. One change I made from the inspo tutorial is I used push pins to hold the flowers to the foam balls instead of hot glue. This project took days! My suggestion: spend a little more and use real carnations to save time. |
| Inspo: here. (2nd picture taken with my phone, sorry!) Smalls ones could have been covered up better. Large lantern was red, which turned out to be great because the bare spots weren't as noticeable! Lanterns purchased at Party City. |
| Party favor "cake slices" filled with valentines candy. |
What I loved most about the decor was how girly it all was! Pink punch, pink cake, pink plates, pink silverware and little hints of beige thrown in. Very petite and fresh. There was however, one more project I can't wait to share with you all!
| Photo back drop inspo: here. But you'll have to wait till tomorrow to see how it turned out! Hint: awesome! |
::Glad to be back!::

You are SO talented with your cakes, they all look too good to eat but decadent where I wish I would take a bite. Beautiful party!
