The most hectic of weekends!

Whew! Glad THAT weekend is over! It was so hectic, with the garage sale in the morning, then moving in the evening.. there was NO break time! But now, I have TV and internet again and I'm more than happy to be sitting on my couch in my new apartment watching meaningless TV shows and facebooking :) ahhhh.. :) The new apartment is still in the unpacking process, but I'm getting closer each moment, and soon I'll be done. Then I will post some pictures of the new Pad for everyone to see. Until then, I'm going to get back to Vegging out in front of the TV!

Moving!

We signed the lease on our new apartment today! One week till we move in. PRAISE THE LORD we got in somewhere RIGHT in time. We have to be out on the 1st. And we both like it. We looked at a lot of houses and this one apartment. After each house we didn't even really discuss it. It didn't feel right. But in the apartment it was evident that we were supposed to live there for the next year. We both had a good feeling about it, and even though there were times we were told we might not be able to get in there in time, we both knew, deep down, that we would.

I've been trying to pack, but its so hard! I dont know what to pack now, because some stuff we use. Also I tend to want to pack the boxes to the TOP which makes them REALLY heavy. I just need to get down to it and finish already.

While packing and preparing for the move I've collected quite a pile of things to get rid of. So, if you live in the Sand Mountain area be sure to come to me and Audrey's garage sale, Friday and Saturday (8/28 & 8/29), at Lifepoint Church! There are a few more people selling things too so it should be a good sale!

Even though Wade and I wont be in our permenant house for like a year and a half, I often find myself searching furniture online and putting my home together in my head! Here's the thing.. I pick really unconventional stuff. I love light-colored furniture! but thats not going to be the best choice when we have children. Maybe I'll put baby gates up around it all to keep it nice haha. or I will just get more practical furniture. So, incase I never get to have it in my living room, I thought I'd put it on my blog for everyone to see my imaginary future decorating.

Bucks Pocket

For the last three weeks, Wade has been working EVERY DAY! Its great for our trip to India, which we have to pay for very soon! But It also means that we haven't gotten to do as much together as we normally do. The past few weeks I've been spending a lot of time at home, and searching for apartments (which we found and will be moving into soon! yay!) So, yesterday when my sister-in-law, Audrey, called me to see if I wanted to go out to Bucks Pocket with some friends, I decided I really needed to go! I wanted to sleep, because my Benadryl from the night before hadn't worn off yet, but I thought it would be a lot more fun to hang out with some friends.






I'd never been to Bucks Pocket. It is pretty much a state park/ camping area with a big river running through it. However, when we got there, ready to swim, the river was completely dried up! What was left was an AWESOME rock bed that we played in instead. We also went down to a water hole where I tried for 5 minutes to convince this huge butterfly to land on me.. it was stubborn.




This morning Wade got off work finally for a WHOLE week and I'm so excited! I love getting to spend all day with him. This week will most likely be spent packing up our current apartment getting ready for the move!
