our first big dilemna!

Well, we knew it would come! Our first big marriage dilemna! We have to move out of our apartment, and we have one month to do it!

Yesterday, I was told by the Landlord that she made a mistake and it turns out we CAN'T keep living here with Wade on the lease. The apartments are income based and with Wade on the lease we go over the income limit. There are NO apartments that I've seen in the area that I like as much as the one I'm in! Its sad. But, after crying and saying, "WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!?!?" I calmed down and got excited about seeing what God will do.

Honestly, its been a while for me since I've been completely at a loss (plan-wise). I'm such a planner so usually God takes away any ability to plan in order to draw me closer to Him. Its weird, because I have this excitement - even though we are a month away from having to pick up and move to Who Knows Where - to see what God has in store. He obviously doesn't want us here anymore, so I'm curious to see where we will end up.

Unfortunately, for my sanity, Wade is working these next two weeks without a day off so its going to be up to me to check places out. I would usually get nervous about doing that kind of thing without him, but the pressure is on and its definitly pushing me to just do what I gotta do! I have one apartment to look at on Saturday, and a real estate agent looking for apartments and houses for rent in the area.

Vacation is over.. or is it?

This summer has been FULL of fun vacations! Each time I come back from one, I do laundry and pack for another!

The other week, Wade and I went to the beach with some friends from church. We stayed for a whole week! I loved it! It was so nice to go away to the ocean and spend all day laying on the beach and playing in the water, then going out to eat great food at night and staying up late to play games!
One day we went to the zoo with Q, Audrey and Deci, and Kevin, Jessica and AnnaRuth. I think I was the child in mine and Wade's group, because I got just as excited about the animals as Deci did lol. I fed all kinds of animals, and got slobbered on by all kinds of animals!
Another day Wade got to go Spear Fishing! He put on snorkling gear and swam in the ocean with a spear GUN looking for fish to shoot! I was so worried someone would come back with a huge spear through their leg! But luckily (in my point of view) they didn't see any fish to shoot. :) whew!
I pretty much parked myself on the beach and layed out until I couldn't stand the heat, then I'd move under an umbrella and read and just enjoy being at the ocean. I miss it!

I was home for only a few days before I went on a lone trip to Tampa to see my best friend Megan for her birthday. I had a lot of fun, catching up with old friends, and spending time with Megan again. It was difficult to talk longer than a few moments with Wade on the phone because we were always doing something or with other people.
When I got to the Birmingham airport (after being delayed due to weather) I was so excited to see my Wade again. Its crazy and really mushy, but our hug was unforgettable! It was like my long lost love reunited at last! lol but really, we couldn't let go of eachother for the longest time while we waited for my bags. Every hug and kiss today have given me the biggest butterflies! I'm so glad to have a husband that makes me weak in the knees :) I know thats some mushy-gushy romance stuff, but I just can't keep it in! lol Wade's gonna kill me for divulging so much :)

Now he is at work, and doesn't get this next week off because he is working extra at another pharmacy. So week one of his 3 week - no days off - working schedule is over, two more to go.

No more summer vacations are planned. But life is still a vacation for me - I have such a fun everyday life that I am not at all bummed that there are no more "planned" trips for the summer.

Beach Vacation

ya know whats amazing?...

The fact that EVERY DAY I love Wade MORE. Every time I get a hug, I feel butterflies in my stomach. Its like all my senses were hightened once I got married. Every moment with Wade is special to me. As soon as he wakes up I'm just dying to spend every second together! Usually I'm counting down the minutes until his alarm with go off.. and often I can't wait even that long and I try to wake him up earlier! haha. If you dont know, Wade works the night shift, but only every other week. He gets off in the morning for the whole week and we are heading to the beach! I'm so excited to go to the beach and to experience a group vacation as husband and wife! :)

You know what ELSE is amazing? A man got saved at church today! Thats SO AMAZING! I always feel so honored to be in the presence of God when he changes a heart. I makes me fall even deeper in love with God. Glen preached on John 3:16. Thats it. He expounded on it, which to me I loved because it reminded me of Bible College sermons. He explained how much detail goes into each word God uses to express his love for us. And then we got to see evidence of that when we gained a brother in Christ! yay!

Independence on the Bayou

Summer is so much fun! Wade and I have been so lucky to have so much free-time together. For the 4th of July weekend we drove down to Mississippi with his mom and her husband to spend the holiday with some of my family. We went tubing, ate ribs, lit some fireworks, and RELAXED! And now in ONE WEEK we are going to the Beach for a few days! I love summer. I hope it stays warm for a LOOOONG time :)
